ahhh, le sigh

I just felt like asking a rhetorical question: Why is my mother so cliché?
Here are some examples from the past two days alone:


EXAMPLE 1:
Mom: I gave birth to you.
BG: Huh?
Mom: And because of that you have to do [insert dumb task].


EXAMPLE 2:
Mom: You can't say that.
BG: What? Why? 
Mom: Because I gave birth to you.


EXAMPLE 3:
Mom: You have to do this. Right now, young lady.
BG: Eh? I already did [insert stupid thing] and [insert even lamer thing].
Mom: So what? Did I just decide having YOU was too much trouble?
BG: Say wha-
Mom: I just had those doctors cut you out, and I gave birth to you.
BG: *internal facepalm* ...
